Teresa O'Sullivan (née Flanagan)

Teresa O'Sullivan (nee Flanagan), Dublin Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 8th 2021. Much loved Mum to Sharon, Alan, Lynda, Tony, Julie and Vinny. Sadly missed by her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and wide circle of friends.

 

Funeral Mass Saturday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore. Burial afterwards in Oranmore Cemetery. House private on Saturday morning. In compliance with current HSE Covid 19 guidelines, the Funeral Mass will be restricted to family only.

Tony Madden

The death has occurred of Tony Madden, Middle Third, Maree, Oranmore, Co. Galway (predeceased by his parents Sonny & Elizabeth and his brother Noel).

Cherished husband and best friend of Teresa (nee Feeney) the most wonderful father to Fiona (McAnespie), Enda, Angela and Gary. Tony's son-in-law Brian and daughter in law Orla, his adored grandchildren Conor, Grace, Dara, Roísín & Alanna. Tony's much loved sister Maureen Corley (Monivea).

Tony will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, brothers in law, sister in law, beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

House private on Thursday morning. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Maree, Oranmore, Co. Galway on Thursday, 3rd of June, at 12 midday and burial afterwards in Renville Cemetery. Mass will be broadcast live on parish radio on 105.3 fm.

In compliance with current HSE Covid 19 guidelines, Tony's Funeral Mass will be restricted to family only.

Cyril Connolly

The death has occurred of Cyril Connolly, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway aged 47 who has resided in New York City for the last 25 years. Cyril passed suddenly in Elmhurst Hospital in Queens NY on the 26th December 2020.

 

Predeceased by his father Christopher and brother John. Cyril will be sadly missed by his loving mother Cissie, his brother Willie, sisters Peggy, Kathleen, Pauline, Celine, Geraldine, Carmel, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nephew, relatives and friends here and in NYC.

 

May his good natured kind heart and gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Following current government restrictions and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private funeral for Cyril will take place in the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge on Tuesday 5th January at 12pm, burial afterwards in Clarinbridge Cemetery. House private by request. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot can leave their message of condolence for Cyril's family in the condolences section below. William Carr, known as Billy, (box car Willie), Keamsella, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway. Parish of Ballinderreen (late of Cave, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway). Died suddenly in UCHG on December 11th, 2020. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Kate, sister Maureen, brothers Paddy, Sean and Mattie. Billy will be hugely missed by all his family, wife Mary, daughters Michelle (Nenagh), Caroline, Caitriona, sons Damien, Patrick, Keith and William, sons-in -law, daughters-in-law, 18 grandchildren, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially in the music and GAA worlds.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace and May his free spirit be with us forever.

 

Billy will leave his home on Monday for Mass at 12 noon in St. Colman's Church, Ballinderreen, followed by cremation at 3p.m. in Shannon Crematorium. Donations, if desired, to Croí.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tommy. Sadly missed by her sons Pat and Richard, daughters Mary, Berni, Catherine and Helen, sons-in-law Noel, Richard and Martin, daughter-in-law Patsy, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen Murphy, 4th December 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Jacko, brother John Joe and sister Christina.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Gerard, Kevin, Donal, John, Joseph, Noel and Enda, sister, Sr. Una Connolly RSC, daughters-in-law Imelda, Bríd, Mary, Helen, Angela, Claire and Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephew and niece, cousins and a wide circle of friends.

Kathleen will leave her home on Sunday evening at 7pm for St. Colman's Church, Roveagh. Mass on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Brendan Lohan, Árd Aoibhinn, Oranhill, Oranmore, Co. Galway (formerly of Newbridge, Ballygar, Co. Galway). Brendan passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway in the presence of his loving family. He is deeply missed by his devoted wife Moira, sons Gearóid (Clane, Co. Kildare), Mark (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) and daughter, Claire (Oranmore), daughters-in-law, Gráinne and Sarah, son-in-law Leo and grandchildren Niamh, Muireann, Conn, Mark Gerry, Oisín, Cúán and Cormac. Deeply regretted by his sisters and brother, Bridie Kitt (Castleblakney), Lena Rhatigan (Milltown), Kathleen Cunningham (Mountbellew), Anne McElwaine (Renmore) and Martin 'Sonny' Lohan (London). Predeceased by his brothers, Tommy, Michael, John, Mark, Pat and sisters Margaret Mary and Mary.

Brendan will leave his home to arrive for Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore at 1.30pm, Sunday, 22nd November. The mass is private in line with COVID-19 restrictions and will be broadcast locally on 105.3FM. Burial afterwards at Renville Cemetery.
