The death has occurred of Cyril Connolly, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway aged 47 who has resided in New York City for the last 25 years. Cyril passed suddenly in Elmhurst Hospital in Queens NY on the 26th December 2020.

Predeceased by his father Christopher and brother John. Cyril will be sadly missed by his loving mother Cissie, his brother Willie, sisters Peggy, Kathleen, Pauline, Celine, Geraldine, Carmel, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nephew, relatives and friends here and in NYC.

May his good natured kind heart and gentle soul rest in peace.

Following current government restrictions and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private funeral for Cyril will take place in the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge on Tuesday 5th January at 12pm, burial afterwards in Clarinbridge Cemetery. House private by request. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot can leave their message of condolence for Cyril's family in the condolences section below.
