The death has occurred of William Carr
Keamsella, Kilcolgan, Galway

William Carr, known as Billy, (box car Willie), Keamsella, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway. Parish of Ballinderreen (late of Cave, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway). Died suddenly in UCHG on December 11th, 2020. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Kate, sister Maureen, brothers Paddy, Sean and Mattie. Billy will be hugely missed by all his family, wife Mary, daughters Michelle (Nenagh), Caroline, Caitriona, sons Damien, Patrick, Keith and William, sons-in -law, daughters-in-law, 18 grandchildren, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially in the music and GAA worlds.

May his gentle soul rest in peace and May his free spirit be with us forever.

Billy will leave his home on Monday for Mass at 12 noon in St. Colman's Church, Ballinderreen, followed by cremation at 3p.m. in Shannon Crematorium. Donations, if desired, to Croí.

Funeral will be held in line with current COVID-19 restrictions. Anyone who wishes to do so are invited to leave a message of condolence for the family in the condolences section below.
